Scrubbin' Belles Policies

Supplies

We bring our own supplies and tools because we have personally tested our products and we are trained in their proper uses and applications. If you would like us to use your products, please inform us during our initial estimate.

Ladders

We come with our own one-step to two-step ladders. Anything taller will be reached with extendable dusters. We will not use any ladders taller than a two-step.

Moving Furniture

We will not move large furniture, so please have any large furniture in the position you would like us to clean around and under.

​

Pets

We understand that pets are a part of your family. Some pets are sensitive to noises or cleaning materials; we ask that any pets that live in the house are placed in a safe location that we are not working in. We do not clean pet excrement, including (but not limited to) kennels and litter boxes.

Insects

Insect infestation will prevent us from cleaning your home or business. If an infestation of ants, termites, roaches, fleas, bed bugs, etc. is encountered, we will not clean until the problem has been cleared. Please do not expect us to clean up dead insects that you’ve sprayed.

Safety

Our safety is extremely important. To avoid injury, we are unable to move heavy or large objects, flip mattresses, etc. We are unable to clean up vomit, blood, urine or excrement, as it poses a health hazard. If an employee feels that their personal safety is in danger, and the employee must leave the job site, the client is still responsible for the full cost of the job.

Key Control Policy

We take the utmost care in protecting your key and your home or business. Keys are number coded and have no names or addresses attached. All keys are immediately returned upon cessation of service.

If you decide not to provide a key and no one will be home during the cleaning, you may choose to leave a door unlocked or place a spare key in a secured place. In this case, you release Scrubbin’ Belles of any liability that may arise from damages or theft to your home, as we cannot guarantee that we are the only ones who will have access to your home that day.

Scheduling

When we schedule your appointment(s), we reserve that time on the chosen date for your home or business. Accordingly, we have implemented the following policies:

Cancellation Fee

We require cancellations be communicated to us 24 hours in advance to avoid incurring charges.  Cancellations communicated less than 24 hours prior to appointment will be charged $35.

Lock Out/Turned Away Fee

If we arrive on our scheduled cleaning day and are turned away at the door or cannot get in, we will charge full price for your scheduled cleaning.

Notify the Office
All cancellations must be made by phoning either number listed for Scrubbin’ Belles.

​

Damages
We will not assume liability for pre-existing damages, scratches, dings in windows, paint, furniture, floors, walls, etc. or items not secured in a proper manner (e.g. heavy pictures hanging from thumb tacks, not anchored properly to walls). Items of monetary or sentimental value should be put away on the day of cleaning and/or cleaned by home owner.
All surfaces (e.g. marble, granite, hardwood floors, etc.) are assumed to be sealed and ready to be cleaned without causing harm/damage when common cleaners are used.

Holidays and Closings
Scrubbin’ Belles is closed and there will be no cleanings scheduled on the following holidays:
New Year’s Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Eve
Christmas Day

​

Arrival Time/Hours
Our hours of operation are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Our technicians arrive at our first house between 8:30 and 9:00, and the last house by 3:00 p.m.  Unless you are our first cleaning of the day, we cannot guarantee an exact arrival time. Please allow us the flexibility of scheduling our arrival between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. We will strive to meet your requested time but we cannot guarantee it.
